The Great Loop

Sarasota/Siesta Key

On the way back to NC we stopped by Sarasota to meet with people at Sarasota Yacht and Ships and Marina Jacks. We also used the time to find a place for next winter. While we enjoyed Marathon and it was good to explore and learn those waters and more of the Keys in general. We prefer the Gulf Coast. A friend of our has a house in Siesta Key and he invited us to stay there a few days so we could make our boating work contacts and also find a place for us to stay and keep our Whaler next winter. It was a very busy 5 days but we did make our work contacts and found a condo for next winter on the ICW right at the Stickney Point bridge. We took a few pictures of the area from land and also have a picture with me and Bill. Bill is the president's of Sarasota Yacht and Ship dog. We got to know Bill very well when we purchased and fitted out our boat at Marina Jacks.
